The Church of Saint Francis
Located in Piazza San Marco D’Ecana, the Church of St. Francis is a majestic example of baroque architecture. Built between the XV and the XVIII centuries, the interior has a large nave preceeded by an entrance atrium where the choir is set up. Entirely decorated with white plasters, it retains four marble altars of Neapolitan school, while along the right wall there are an eighteenth-century wooden pulpit and a main altar, with the statues of St. Anthony of Padua and St. Francis of Assisi to the sides.
